This is almost flawless! The mechanisms in this set work perfectly (I was going to attach a video, but the website seems to not allow me to. Just know that the TV scrolling mechanism and the cartridge loading mechanism both work amazing and I have no problems with them).

The design is 1:1 with the original L brand set. All the same pieces, all the same steps. You can use the Lego brand instructions if you wish, there’s literally zero difference.

All the prints are perfect, and same with the 2 stickers.

This is my first Jie Star set, and after buying some sets from different brands, I can confidently say that Jie Star’s quality is the best I’ve seen so far.

I only really have one problem with the set: some of the parts are very tight-fitting. This is the case for lots of other brands too, since I think their bricks all tend to come from the same manufacturer. Regardless, it only got REALLY annoying when it came to building the controller cord. The actual flexible black cord piece was so tight to attach to anything else, and I struggled a lot to get it all the way on. I was able to eventually, but it was not pleasant. I may swap it out for a slightly less narrow pipe from some hardware store in the future.

You should know that the barcode on top of the tv that’s meant to be used with the LEGO Mario figure is not functional for whatever reason.

I really can’t complain too much, though. This is genuinely a fantastic set. I enjoyed building it a lot, and it looks great once complete.

Was a little nervous after reading some reviews of joker sets on Reddit. 1 piece was a little disfigured but still fit. Overall a great build. Looks amazing and goes well with my mighty Bowser set on display
