The quality of the 1989 Batmobile set close to that of the major brand. The directions provided are clear - even though I used the online directions on the Lego site. The vehicle is pretty large and just as impressive in person as it looks in pictures. My only complaint is that there were about 10 missing pieces that slowed the building process. In some cases I could replace them with my own but I did purchase the rest from a local brick shop. If it wasn’t for that, I’d give it a 5 star rating.
