I ordered 2 of these in 2 separate orders. For the second order you can see in the image that I received 2 different styles of the barding.  The one on the right does not have the clips built into the mold, you have to add an extra piece. I really do not like the aesthetic of having to add that extra 1x1 modified round plate.
 
I reached out to customer service and they were very responsive; however, they confirmed with the manufacturer that the mold on the right will be the one moving forward, which I am disappointed by. They will eventually provide updated website images, but until then, hard to know for sure what'll you'll get?  It's very unfortunate if the new mold going forward relies on adding the black clips to the barding.
