I enjoyed this build. The pieces on the whole fitted nicely together and all the parts were there. There were even spares at the end which isnt common for a product from Joy. The reason I went 4 stars is on a couple of the printed parts, they were not in line with the car and look to be printed wrong. So on one side the line is the bottom of the brick and on the other, a couple of pieces are top of the brick. Also with the instructions, sometimes the colour of the brick was hard to tell.

Really Nice Mini Cooper

Overall I’m very impressed with the quality of the set and how similar it is to the original. My biggest complaints are:

1. A few missing bricks, as far as I can tell at this point.
2. Small inaccuracies in the instruction booklet. For example, a few bricks are bricks being shown in the actual model image but missing from inventory “blowup” image. Also, colors sometimes don’t match between the model image and the blowout, leaving me to guess which picture is correct.
3. The brick bags were not numbered at all, leaving me to sort through a huge pile to find each piece. It helps somewhat to sort them into containers by color, but that’s only a slight improvement over LEGO’s system.

All in all, it’s still well worth the price, which is current about 16% of what the actual LEGO set is selling for on some online retail websites.
