Fun assembly, but there were some issues

I will start by saying that it was a very fun experience putting the set together, especially testing the mechanism that moves the wings.
There were, however some things I didn't like about the set:
- the golden smooth tiles look as if the paint pooled in the middle, and they are looking quite ugly because of that
- there were two malformed bricks in the set, luckily I could use them in places that cover the bricks entirely so they are not visible
- the instructions are vague in few places, leaving you to figure out how to assemble pieces via trial and error; often the color of bricks on paper was badly visible, e.g. grey pieces on grayed out "previous steps"
- the fit of the bricks is so tight, that putting them together feels ok, but separating them is way to hard, for small or smooth pieces I had to use a knife to pry them apart
- there are many small imperfections on the bricks, that are visible while assembling

Imo it's still a good value for money and a fun set to put together, it also looks great on the shelf.

Edit December 2024 (after a month since assembly):

Sadly I need to drop my initial rating of 4 and change it to 2.
The mechanism that moves the wings is barely working (very jittery), and pieces are falling of the model when it's in motion.
The bricks holding the feathers on the wings are of such bad quality, they are falling apart while in use.
The "hooks" are so flimsy that you will be able to attach the feather ONCE - another attempt will result in piece breaking.
I've attached pictures of the broken piece and another one already fractured.

I would stronly advise everyone to steer clear from any set that does not explicitly state the company which is resposible for making it - I've completed few of those sets and there were problems with all of them.
