The Castle of the Lion Knights

In a land of green hills and quiet valleys there stood a great castle, built by the hands of men who loved stone, steel, and the old ways. Its towers rose proudly against the sky, and upon its walls flew the banner of the Lion Knights.

When at last the building was finished, I stood before it with a smile, for it was a fine fortress indeed. The halls and towers seemed almost as though they belonged to some forgotten tale of kings and wandering knights. There were many little corners to discover, and the whole castle had a warmth and character that made it feel far older than the pieces from which it had been made.

Yet the road to its completion was not without trouble.

For some of the stones would not sit as they ought, and certain pieces refused stubbornly to fit together. I tried patience, and then more patience, but in the end there was naught for it but to take up the saw and alter one of the pieces myself. It was a small victory, perhaps, but a necessary one if the castle was ever to stand complete.

And so, after much labour, the castle was finished.

I cannot say that the journey was without its hardships, but when I looked upon the completed fortress, those troubles seemed small indeed. The towers stood firm, the walls were whole, and the Lion Knights had once more a stronghold worthy of their name.

And though it was born from many little pieces, it now seemed like something greater: a castle with a history yet unwritten, waiting for knights to ride from its gates and for tales to be told beneath its ancient-looking walls.

A magnificent castle, full of medieval charm and the spirit of old adventures. The troublesome pieces were a disappointment, but the finished fortress was well worth the labour.

Small figure pieces were prone to breaking and the textured gray brick are inverted to the original design. Some pieces were tight and hard to put. I brutally injured myself attempting to put a cylinder in a technic brick and cut my gums open. I had to use a hammer twice and super glue 15 times. My miniature hands broke a couple times and not very cool that they don’t come already placed. Otherwise a good product. I find it tuff that I could build this with no hands or toes and it’s very accessible to people

Nice set yet some quality was missing.
