Unbelievable detail not a Lord of the Rings fan but this is my favorite Lego build that I've done

It was fantastic building, every piece was as it should be. The colours looks great, the pieces felt just as legos and the build looks just as good as the original.

The pieces sits a bit harder together and needs a bit more force putting together, and for a shelf piece like this, that's a plus.
I had so much fun building this, and this the price given, you'll get so much!
The only negative is the figures, those aren't perfect and a few beards / hair pieces doesn't fit with the figures it's meant for which is irritating. But buying these pieces used is just a few dollars, so nothing to complain about really.

Elf hairpieces don't fit on the minifigure heads, the beards of the dwarves don't work with their hairpieces and sitting pieces for dress wearing characters are printed upside down. I had no missing pieces, however there were 3 pieces that were the wrong size which make the set look bad.

Building Rivendell was a great experience and the end result is amazing. There are some flaws though, as the headpieces and beardpieces of the minifigs can't fit together and some pieces are too small (multiple columns and two sloped pieces that are part of the bridge). This is correctable with spare pieces that you might have. Also the pieces that form the stone (where the ring is placed) in the seating area are not a universal light brown colour. Apart from al that the set is much fun to build, the quality is very good and there were no missing pieces at all.
