The pice that makes every locomotive magical

The foggers I ordered just have arrived, and I love them. I tried them out almost immediately, you have to fill it up with a destilled water, using a syringe, with the needle part on, since the load opening is too small, for the dropplets to enter.
With one load it can work for about 5 minutes.
There is one thing that I figured out, the flexible lego pneumatic tubes can perfectly fit in the loading hole, so now I try to figure out, how could I make a built in loading mechanism for my MOC locomotive.

Great to use for MOCs

Works great to create steam engines.
Just make sure you use destilled water!

Great device with some issues

I love the fogger brick, as the effect is great for steam trains. But there are some thing buyers should know.
The device activated as soon as connected to the power function 9V. This is ok for the on/off style PF but not if you use IR receivers, as it will have no effect. You need to solder it to C1 or C2 pin to be able to steer it and adjust the steam setting via IR remote. Also there is no pipette included to inject the water into the tank. The water tank is the small hole, not the large one!

17004 MOULDKING Tower Crane

Not a bad build, rather simple design. Functionality needs a lot of work. The small gear at the top of the tower for rotation of the arm is poorly supported and therefore doesn't engage most of the time. The trolly that should move back and forth across the arm is operated by one motor that pulls two strings in opposite directions. On my model the strings kept getting slack and knotting up. Base is rather small and not as stable as I would like.
Summary: Not bad as a display piece but not very fun to operate.

Fun assembly, but there were some issues

I will start by saying that it was a very fun experience putting the set together, especially testing the mechanism that moves the wings.
There were, however some things I didn't like about the set:
- the golden smooth tiles look as if the paint pooled in the middle, and they are looking quite ugly because of that
- there were two malformed bricks in the set, luckily I could use them in places that cover the bricks entirely so they are not visible
- the instructions are vague in few places, leaving you to figure out how to assemble pieces via trial and error; often the color of bricks on paper was badly visible, e.g. grey pieces on grayed out "previous steps"
- the fit of the bricks is so tight, that putting them together feels ok, but separating them is way to hard, for small or smooth pieces I had to use a knife to pry them apart
- there are many small imperfections on the bricks, that are visible while assembling

Imo it's still a good value for money and a fun set to put together, it also looks great on the shelf.
