Nice addition to the T1 VW Camper

The design of this set is not perfect. There are some strange part usage decisions. But then I realised that this set is built only using parts from the T1 camper van set. That made some of the decisions clear. And it is a MOC, after all. The result is a very nice design, which fits the camper van perfectly. Also great that the parts and instructions for adjusting the van (the original has no tow bar) are included.
Clutch power is decent and colour deviations are marginal.
Quick delivery as always, arrived in perfect state, no missing parts.

Fun assembly, but there were some issues

I will start by saying that it was a very fun experience putting the set together, especially testing the mechanism that moves the wings.
There were, however some things I didn't like about the set:
- the golden smooth tiles look as if the paint pooled in the middle, and they are looking quite ugly because of that
- there were two malformed bricks in the set, luckily I could use them in places that cover the bricks entirely so they are not visible
- the instructions are vague in few places, leaving you to figure out how to assemble pieces via trial and error; often the color of bricks on paper was badly visible, e.g. grey pieces on grayed out "previous steps"
- the fit of the bricks is so tight, that putting them together feels ok, but separating them is way to hard, for small or smooth pieces I had to use a knife to pry them apart
- there are many small imperfections on the bricks, that are visible while assembling

Imo it's still a good value for money and a fun set to put together, it also looks great on the shelf.

This is a decent product with a good price-performance ratio. The entire transaction was straightforward and I would definitely recommend it!
