I took a risk with this set since I could find no reviews for it anywhere online, but it was very worth it! I only wish that it came with figures, but I bought those separately and did not include them in these pictures so no one wrongly assumes that they are included.
This is not a perfect 1:1 creation of the FNAF1 location, but the altered layout works really nice, with key locations being side-by-side and easy to see.
There’s only 2 stickers here, being the “It’s Me” sign and the “Happy Birthday” sign. That second one is actually placed on two tiles, so if you ever want to take this apart you may need to slice the sticker in half to get those two tiles apart. Hopefully that makes sense. Every other image you see here is printed, and they look really nice. In the office area, there’s even small prints of camera feeds from other parts of the building.
One thing that I didn’t know was in this set until I opened the last bag was… a light brick? I’m pretty sure none of the online descriptions of this set mention the light brick, but it’s there. It’s actually technically two bricks: a transparent 1x4 plate for the bulbs, and a yellow 2x3 brick for the batteries, both connected with a wire that you can see in one of the images I attached. A very welcome addition.
There’s a door mechanism for the security office, but it’s kind of janky. I’m not sure if I’m just using it wrong, but you’re supposed to be able to suspend the door in midair for the “open” position, but it’s really only half-open which looks kind of silly. Again, there’s an image of this that I attached. So I just keep the doors closed because it looks nicer.
The bricks are all very high quality. Some of the longer ones like the 1x10 bricks or the claw pieces used to hold the balloons, are very tight. I had to sand the claw pieces down if I ever wanted to be able to detach them again, but thankfully that was the worst of the problems I had. The bricks just needed a bit of extra force to push down sometimes, nothing too heinous.
The build experience is pretty fun. Not too complicated, but there are some parts where it does get fairly monotonous, like when building the walls. Large chunks of them are made of little grey plates and S.N.O.T bricks, which take a while to build and aren’t very interesting. However, everything else was very enjoyable when putting this together.
The paper instructions that Tokmoc made for this set are very nice, and certainly the same quality as more popular brands. No full list of parts, though, which isn’t ideal. Speaking of parts, apparently this includes 1388 pieces, but I counted around 1130, so I have no idea where those ~250 other pieces came from. Regardless, this is still a better deal than larger brands would give you for the same product, especially considering the surprise light brick. Highly recommended.
