I’m glad that the Egyptians finally get their own mini figures, and I’m happy to say that these are really good quality figures. The weapons snap into their hands and I’ve had no problems with legs separating from torsos. I would make a couple of improvements though. For one, I’d make would be to give every figure some kind of hair or head dress. It’s true that some Egyptians did shave their heads but we should have the option of giving them hair or a head dress of some sort. Secondly, though I’m no expert in the topic, the dress and shield of the spear-armed, dark-skinned figure would probably be a better fit nineteenth century Masai warrior than a Nubian from the late Bronze Age.
The Model is really great, but a Challenge even for Professionals like me.
The Construction phases are well explained, but many things could have been installed earlier than stated in the instructions, which would have made assembly much more relaxed and easy. The prints on the stones and tires are good, but not perfect. The printing on 2 Tires is almost gone because it is stuck to the inside of the bag in which the Tires were packed instead of on the Tires and the printing on one Stone is slightly damaged. But I will write to Joy about this, because he can't do anything about it since he is only the Sender and not the Manufacturer.
Bought it as a christmas gift, so it's not built yet. Anyway, the bricks are looking great and quality is good.
